Money Isn’t Everything!

Wow! WOW! I don’t think I’ve seen a worse action sequence in my entire life. It’s probably not worth watching all the way through, but the first four minutes are spell-binding. If this is India’s state-of-the-art, then I’m not terribly worried about out-sourcing. But given that there are actually some good bits mixed in with the student projects (a robot that makes a 90 degree turn, sans lean? Please!), it’s probably only a matter of time before the technicians and the audience are more experienced and demanding.

Tiny Inventions Studio

Thanks to friend Jim for letting me know about these artists. They have some wonderfully creative stuff and use a combination of puppetry, stop motion, line animation, and computer animation — truly living the dream of many current animators!
